I have a whisper lid but the original duct that it came with has a hole in it so I was wondering could I use dryer duct in its place. Its the aluminum kind but its hard its not like the foil duct this is a link to what I wanna use on my whisper lid http://cgi.ebay.com/AZM-8-Ft-Duct-Dr...ayphotohosting
Oh yeah I will be running nitrous on my car so thats just another thought when you give me some advice
I've used it on my car for I guess about two years now and no problems whatsoever!!!!
I got flamed for it and some people said it wouldn't work but no problems. Go for it.
that was before I got a whisper lid... still works with my whsiper lid too

I would like too see a picture with your whisper lid on do you run nitrous also
No my engine is almost completely stock... i'll snap a few pics tomorrow perhaps and post them up. It may not look that good, but this is not a show car for me, plus its the only thing I could find at the moment.
If looks are important to you then look around online for a black flexible hose instead. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Black...spagenameZWD1V
The reason I had to go with dryer duct was the simpler fact of how you have to bend the tubing. I know I know... most of you are like "you could use some pvc or something better and turn it, but pics don't do it justice. Once you get it on ther you will see how it practically has to go straight down and turn again.
