Leaking EGR

I recently put Pacesetter Headers on my 3.8L and everything was fine until recently. Now my EGR is leaking is there anything I can do to stop it.

first go through all your bolts and make sure they are tight, they like to loosen up after a while. if that doesnt work pull the egr out and make a nice coating of copper RTV on the flange and that should seal it up

go to zzp and get 2 block of plates. put on the header and one on the upper intake! take the egr out(keep it) and then just put it back on when you have to go in for inspection.

If I block off the EGR valve then what would i need to do to keep the pcm from throwing codes?

Bad idea unless your going to have it tuned or only run premium gas. Not having the EGR will cause it to ping at highway cruse speeds with a stock tune.

zzp also has a egr simulater i have it and it works no codes 6 months so far
