TB Spacer worth the money?

Any experiance with tb spacer for a 3.8 V6 ? It cost only 50 Dollars. Any gain? any loss, any opinions?

Everyone has their own opinion on these. I know it blocks the coolant from the throttlbody, which can help keep it from head soaking. I have one, and the only reason i keep it on their is the sound it produces. when first getting into the gas it makes a whistleing(sp) noise. although once i put my new motor in, i doubt it will get put back on. if i had it to do over again i prolly would not have bout it, or would have waited around for a used one.

I tapped it for PCV ( to my catch-can )...

so it worked for me...

Since we have metal intake manifolds and throttle bodies, a metal spacer wouldn't do much good. However, the plastic spacer from ZZP keeps the heat from the intake away from the TB. They won't give you any noticeable power gains, but to me it was well worth the price. I picked up 2-3 mpg after I installed mine.
