Would a normal A/F gauge tapped into my O2 sensor be completely worthless? I've heard yes, but just double checking. Daily, H/C car with slight possibility of spray in the future. I just want to try and keep an eye on things while I'm driving. Another thing, I want to !EGR. Just to get it out of the way, I know there's no real gains to it. If you do that, you have to run premium fuel until you can get it tuned, which I will, but I just want to make sure I'm not pushing it too much; GT2 cam, valve job, P&P intakes, bolt-ons, TR6 plugs. Would I be fine, or should I leave it on for now? I'd prefer to leave it off, since I'm reassembling the car now and don't want to worry about it at all :P

Re: A/F gauge/EGR
A regular A/F guage tapped into your current (stock) 02's would be a light show. Nothing useful there.
You would need to buy a wideband 02 sensor (stock are narrowband), and those run you a pretty penny (upwards of $200) if you want a A/F guage to be worth anything more than a filler guage.
Edit: A/F to a stock 02 will look like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npNeb...eature=related

Re: A/F gauge/EGR
OK. I have a buddy about 2hrs north of me who said he'd let me use HP Tuners on my car if I buy the credits. I'm going up there one weekend once I get her running again. Do you think I'd be fine DD'n the car with no EGR on stock tune? And how bad will it affect fuel mileage?Last edited by RadRacer; 03-28-2008, 09:30 PM.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~
