  • Exhaust Question...

Im not planning on modding my car much because i want to get a new one soon anyway. For the time i have this car i do want an exhaust, i cant stand not having it loud anymore. The problem is i want to be quiet in case i have to leave/come home late at night (or the morning). Now, heres the question...

Is there an exhaust that is quiet but has a nice quiet rumble, or maybe even nothing at all, that i can get installed and have an electric cutout in it so i can make it loud once i leave or whatever...

    or

will it sound fine on my stock exhaust and just have an electric cutout put onto my stock one...

    Thanks.

    Re: Exhaust Question...

you could always get the exhaust from an LS1 car... its slightly wider, and would sound a bit better.

if you want to show up quietly, make sure you start on a hill, gun your engine, put it in neutral and kill the engine. Let your momentum take you to where your going and park on the street. haha. to leave just put it in neutral and then push it with the dor open. while your car is rolling away, run up and jump in. Not only will it be really quiet, you can feel like James Bond.

hahaha, its funny you mention that. in my camaro that had flowmasters i used to do that. my street is a dead end with a hill and my driveway is at the bottom of the hill. couldnt leave though once i got down there, haha. and no way in pushing it back up, its a dead end, lol.
