        Is this for CA emission?

Use Seafoam it will help. Also like he said, check your EGR.

I'm not familiar with the 3.4 engine but check you EGR valve. You may need to buy a new one.

Other than that did you already change you O2 sensors?

Did the smog technician told you what you needed to do?

Okay, this will knock your socks off: put 3 oz of pure Acetone in a filled camaro tank ...filled with regular gas...not ethanal ....it will also increase your gas mileage.
Read the posts of people who have done this:

                    http://www.wisebread.com/can-acetone...ur-gas-mileage

There are many personal examples of people getting great results and it turns out that
many commercially available branded products have a lot of Acetone in it.

he told me to take it to a repair shop. the car is running lean and that is whats making it fail so what could make the car run lean?

The O2 sensors being lazy will make the car run lean. Yes your car has them. No they don't always set a code when they go bad.

did you change your fuel filter when you did your tune up? Id def try using an additive next time you fill up.
