Header muffler

This is not for my car. Just curious, im not the biggest car person in the world, but how does a header muffler work?



Its got the holes to be bolted on? I live in ga where I have to have cat and muffler. So where would this go like on a civic or escort? After cat? end of car? Where would it bolt to?

I think it would sound like this. Almost stock but I'm not sure if this Camaro has the same exhaust you posted.

A header muffler is made to bolt to the end of a header instead of using collectors and piping to move the muffler to the back of the car.

you wouldnt use cats or other mufflers with something like that

How would I get it to work if I have to have my cat on there also? (BTW ITS NOT FOR A CAMARO)

use a different muffler

I bolts directly to the header.

Weld a header flange on the pipe you want to put the header muffler on.
