  • 99+ UIM on 98 question.

    so from the "wanted area"

"my turbo kit was designed for a 2000 and my angled TB hits where the turbo is mounted. This way I won't have to re-fab IC piping, down pipe, mount, exhaust pipe and IC pipe going to TB."

I've read that the 98 has the IAC in the TB and 99+ has it in the UIM.....so couldn't I use the one in the TB and not use the one in the UIM?

    What other differences are there?

No, the 95-98 has the IAC in the UIM. The 99+ has it as part of the TB.

I'll make this simple - you CAN NOT use a 95-98 TB on a 99+ UIM. Period.

If you have to ask the differences, you are way in over your head in trying to do this.
