Does anyone know where I can purchase pieces of exhaust tubing? I am looking for about 10-15 inches of exhaust tubing 2.5 inch diameter with female ends or smthing. All i found was regular exhaust pipe but no way to connect it to my current exhaust. Does anyone sell these? I have a flow master catback and was wanting to delete my resonator. I already checked autozone and advance..

Re: Where to get Exhaust tubing?
well, you might be right, i should have added that i cant find it anywhere online, i havent literally walked in to the above mentioned stores. I just thought for sure they advertise the goods online.. I just dont remember walking in and seeing exhaust pipe stuff laying around in the aisles, unless they keep that stuff in the back.

Re: Where to get Exhaust tubing?
Jegs had a good deal going on with free shipping, I picked up 4 feet of 3" tubing for $17 plus handling charges. Also check Summit and JC Whittney.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Re: Where to get Exhaust tubing?
Don't call flowmaster, they don't have anything. when I did mine, I jus cut it two inches before the resonator and ppulled the rest out of the Over-Axle Pipe. then I used a pre-made 18" that I got from advance auto and cut it down a bit, then fit it in...Y87 Package

They usually charge about 50 to weld in a cat so I would guess it would be about the same.Originally posted by kalaI'll have buttsecks with Richard Simmons!

Re: Where to get Exhaust tubing?
thanks for the info guys, I have been thinking about it and was thinking about getting the 2.5 cutout here http://thunderracing.com/catalog/?ac...vid=5&pcid=101
then getting these EZ seal clamps from ebay and maybe delete my resonator then stick the cutout where that was and use the EZ clamps to seal everything up, and if i have too, i could put JB weld of the inside of the clamps..... I mean they are only like 15 dollars for both clamps, i really dont feel like taking it to an exhaust shop if i can use these EZ seal clamps.

Re: Where to get Exhaust tubing?
Clamps will work for a bit, but you won't get as good of a seal, and they might work loose after a while. Welding's def. Superior, but if you want clamps will work.Y87 Package
