yo i just did it my whisper lid is in :)
i dont really notice a difference in power but the car doesnt suck back when its on a roll. the acceleration sound is a lil bit different too.
yea it was easy at first i didnt think it was going to line up but then i got it in. i was sweatin my balls off b/c i broke the old clips holding the old intake so if it didnt fit i was ****ed. but it was easy, thanks
haha yeh I hate when you break something and can't drive your car up to autozone to get another one because you car is in pieces all over the floor of your garage.
You mean the air lid base is off an 02 WS6. She was referring to the SLP/Fast Toys Ram Air which extends from the bottom of the air lid base in the back, down by the radiator to pick up high pressure air.
o i only have the base. i thought that the fuctional ram air hood with the Ram air intake would be enough. i was going to do that and soon as i get enough money i would do the exhaust headers back. what would u guys recommend goin with more intake or doin the exhaust??
A whisper lid is usually enough so yeah, I'd say start on the exhaust now.
The best that you're gonna do with the intake is getting it to cooler air away from the heat of the engine. There's a write up somewhere if you have enough initiative to make one of those under lid "ram air" intakes out of housing air ducts. But yeah if you're getting a ram air hood, that'll help.
Anyways, like I said. Start on the exhaust, that's the fun part.
