About to take my car over to my shop and get it welded up but i thought i post a vid of it with the open headers. Went with the coated ones. The rain just won't let up but i tryed to get a decent vid. I'll make another on when after the welding with the cutout open and closed. hope u like.
oooh yeah....dat should be a very straight fwd install than...I'v got a manual and I have to deal with those air lines.... but yeah do let us know how is the power difference...
yea i havent stepped on on it yet, want to give it a little break in with a few heat/cool cycles but ill let u know. Straight fwd , yes but still a a pain in the ***. I wouldnt have been able to do it myself (would have taken me a long time) had some great help from another camaro guy.
ok got it welded in and made a new vid. Also made a CAI which is really loud. All together i can really notice a bid diffference in the acceleraction. I have yet to really stomp on it but all in due time.
the engine is still dirty after installing the headers and i need to finish polishing the alternator. still messing with wire cover options so its not by any means a finished project but i made some nice progress.
haha don't worry about it dude its all good...I'm glad to help out another 3.4 guy. CAUSE CERTAIN PEOPLE funkz don't know what the hell they are talking about and wasted a lot of time with wrong exhaust bolt sizes and gaskets that aren't ****ing right
ahhh LOL yea see now your talking about a motor that has the power to make that auto do its job....the gearing is just to low, and the parts are too heavy for a 3.4...
I got the car on the highway today going to work and WOW the car is ao much more responsive now throughout the rpms. With the cutout open on the old manafolds the car was sluggish and lost all low end torque. Now even with the cutout open the car is pullin so much better, really breathing on both ends of the engine now
