Hi. I have a question for you guys. I am looking to get a DOR flowmaster setup for my 98. I have emailed the company and got no answer. What type of muffler does the 3.8L 17358 part number kit have. is it the series 40? my friend told me that the 40 series is the way to go. also I wanted to settle a dispute, If the kit comes with the 80 series muffler, will it sound just like stock? I was told by 2 people that the 80 series sounds like stock and is basically not worth it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

That cat back comes with an 80.
80's are much louder than stock. whoever told u that it would not be alot louder than stock is wrong.
I have the 80 series and im somewhat happy with it.

Thanks alot man, and great video. Do you believe that a series 40 muffler would be a better match for the setup. I'd buy the exhaust kit and the series 40 muffler, and sell the 80 series on ebay or keep it or whatever. Thanks again

Isn't the 40 series bigger? might drag on the ground man...maybe I'm thinking of something else

i suggest not getting the flows. i loved it for two years. then it rusted from the inside out. sounds like total crap now.
