they should have just made out cars either 98+ or 98- with the high flow air lids. its bougous that if you want to improve air flow, you have to dish out 100$ or more for just a lid. (excluding some deals you may get on bidding with ebay) still, sh it really grinds my gears

Why is the first link garbage? I have that installed in my 97. For the 98+ the whisper lid is the best option, but why would the chromeintakes be garbage?

Cause it's for a 98+

yeh me too. I feel really gullible shelling out $100 for a piece of plastic that looks almost exactly like the stock part. oh well
