i was just wondering how hard it is installin the magnaflow catback exhuast or similar? i wanna know whats in store for me when mine comes in. what should i look out for and does anyone have a write up?

Can you follow instructions? Can you screw in bolts? Can you weld if nessasary? Do you have Stands and a jack? If you answered yes to these questions you'll be done in no time!1998 Red T-top V6 Camaro

But yeah, should go on pretty easily, just make sure you have the car high enough to get the over Axle pipe on there...Y87 Package

ok cool. i thought the hardest part would be getting the old off. looks like im ganna just hand saw that **** off. i wanna do it all by myself so i can save money and not pay some1 to install it. i will however get it welded later on down the line just to be safe.
how hard is it to get it around the axle?
if anyone has a write up with pics, that would be nice.

Na, I looked at the magnaflow kit, should be pretty easy.
Just get the car on jackstands as high as you can, and if you wanted to, you could throw a jack right in front of the Pass. Side LCA, and jack up the frame...gives a little bit more clearance when you're trying to get it over the axle...jsut be careful if you start to jack the frame, sh*t can get crooked real quick on those stands...

You can jack the rear of the car on the center of the differential, and I put my jackstands on each side of the differential, just outside the rear swaybar.Y87 Package

You want the diff to hang down so the pipes will clear. I removed my LS1 exhaust and installed my Magnaflow in about 2 hours using hand tools.
