  • Difficulty removing the EGR

    How hard is it to remove the EGR? I see two bolts connecting the main part, and they seem hard to get to. I think I may have a leak in one of the tubing connections, and I think it is much easier to inspect it with the EGR off the car.

    they are really easy to get to, just use an extension

    all you do is take the bolts out, and disconnect the connector and it slides right off

      how long does a stock egr sysytem last before one shold change the selenoid?

        i had mine on for over 140k miles before i deleted it with no problem in sight

        Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted

          mine lasted me about 115k miles before my CEL started coming on

          tried cleaning it out, numerous times, but it didnt work

          as long as you arent getting any codes i wouldnt worry about it
