For the past 4 years, I have had a very very loud Ravin muffler and just recently, Pacesetter headers on the Camaro. I didn't get the headers installed right the first time, and due to seemingly endless leaks, I finally went back to stock. While I was at it, I put my stock muffler on. All I can say is WOW. Upon initial startup, I had to check if the car had actually started. You can hardly hear the exhaust. I used to be able to tell how fast I was going just by listening to the RPM, but those days are gone. I can hear road noise again, and my stereo no longer gets overpower by exhaust noise. It honestly feel like a new car.

P.S. The ceramic Pacesetters may very well be in the For Sale section soon, but I think I plan on keeping the muffler, just in case I want the loudness back.

good going, im sure you arent going to be annoyed with the high pitched bumble bee sound of an aftermarket exhaust anymore

Just recently for some reason I fell in love with the sound of my exhaust again. I haven't been really gettin on it lately and so I did a few times here this past week. I need to get back to the track. DAMN BROKEN TURBOS!!!!!!!

I don't know if it is a good or bad thing yet. I can say that it is different though. I really like loud, but I think my old exhaust may have been too loud. Plus, I am selling some of my aftermarket stuff to get cash because I may be selling the Camaro in the near future....perhaps something LS1 powered is in the future...
