To complete the Seafoam ritual, a friend and I pulled the throttle body from the Camaro and gave it a good cleaning. Also got the front of the intake. Didn't want to stick my arm too far into it though. Never know what may be in there.
Materials Used:
1 Can of Seafoam Deep Creep
1 Plastic Toothbrush
1 Copper Wire Brush
1 Oil Pan to catch coolant
Lots of Shop Towels
And of course a new Throttle Body Gasket
Along with various tools to pull it...
Just to let you know 82,700 miles + no prior cleaning = NASTYness.
WARNING: Not for the weak of heart... some pretty nasty **** in here. LOL.
