search didnt come up with nothin...just a thought i had. has anyone tried pullin' a complete Z or SS stock exhaust system and puttin it on their v6? i'm sure someone has tried, i've just never seen anything here about it...i'd think it would bolt right up with minor cuttin/welding, and it would flow better, wouldnt it? just wonderin bout it cuz i'm thinking of selling my flowmaster and finding an SS or Z catback, too much rasp and highway noise from the flowmaster

Re: complete SS or Z take-off?
The catback would fit, Y-Pipes will not fit though (LT1 Y would be close to fitting though)
Z & SS exhausts are the same unless the SS was a SLP car (SLP Dual/Dual, 2OTL)
It would increase in diameter from the 2.25" V6 exhaust. I have partial LS1 catback (muffler/tailpipes/tips/over axel piping) if you are interested.1999 Camaro Z/28
