Ok, so I have a pre-cat cutout that has needed to be angled more because of clearance issues since the day it went on (hangs pretty low and too low to get my e-cutout on). I recently got an SES light that says my cat is bad so I figure now is a good time to get it adjusted. I don't need to buy a new cutout along with cat do I? It should be pretty easy for the shop to just cut it off and reweld it up, right? Thanks.

Re: cutout question
I haven't really opened it much, just a couple of times and it's loud as all hell haha. But I wanted it to be useful and not just for sound, so I wanted it before the restrictive parts of the exhaust. Once I can get the electric motor on it, I doubt it will ever be fully closed :)

Re: cutout question
id say put it after the cat, makes it legal...and the cat helps reduce rasp (though in the upper RPM's flooring it theres so much rasp anyway) besides, mine is after the cat, and a little ways after it there is a perfect spot for it that will get great clearance and plenty of room for the electronics.
