    Exhaust dent?

    is the dent in my 97 firebird exhaust supposed to be there?its before the cat where it bends to go up to the header.any insight would be great.thanks

    Most likely caused by a bender while bending pipes.. Unless the shop uses a mandrel bender you get kinks (or dent type things) in a bend.. Shouldn't be a problem, just a slightly restricted exhaust flow..

      but is this bend on all stock exhausts for are cars?

        My Y pipe didn't have a dent, but I wouldn't have been surprised if it had.. I wouldn't worry about it dude..
