That is THE BIGGEST PIECE OF JUNK ever.
you'll see better gains by taking that money and buying a K&N Filter with it.

Re: ebay air intake
Well, I have played around a lot with intakes for the 95-97 3.8L with the angled throttle body. You are not going to fit any standard 3" tube between the ABS module and the radiator (PVC or aluminum) besides the flex tubing you can get at autozone (which I have now and it is very restrictive).
That kit for $25 gets you the elbow ($8 at hardware store) and mandrel bent aluminum tube (which would cost a whole lot more from K&N or a custom shop). The way I see it:
PROS: cheap, fits, comes with everything
CONS: filter may not be great, but using this kit for the elbow and tube and buying a K&N filter will be a great buy1996 white camaro M5
-Custom CAI, !MAF, !EGR, Hi-Flow Cat, Magnaflow Cat-back, Removed Jack/Spare/Back seats.

2.12 60\' Best
15.14 @ 90 1/4 mile Best

Re: ebay air intake
they also sell one that goes down into the bumper area, out of the engine bay. I'd get that one, then make a block off plate out of some aluminum and you'll have a decent intake. the way that one is, you'll be sucking in alot of hot air; if you get the one that goes further down, then you'll get fresh cooler air and more power.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

The main problem here is location. You can just throw and free flowing cleaner into an engine bay.

Re: ebay air intake
They function and work just fine. That's what I originally put on my car before upgrading to the SLP intake. The only thing I hated about it was the fact that the company drilled a large hole in the side for the AIR hose connection. I could never find a good sized rubber cap to put on it, so I eventually just covered the hole with clear masking tape. The filter isn't much different than a K&N. It's a nice upgrade over the stock intake, but as others have said, there are better options out there. But if you're on a budget it is a nice upgrade.1995 Pontiac Firebird || 3.4L V6
