  • Mass Air Flow Sensor

Other day I replaced my K&N air filter because my old one was dirty and I had cleaned it a few times already and just thought its seen its day, so i replaced it, and then the same day I threw a code, so I took it to my mechanic and he scanned it and said the Mass air flow sensor is prolly just dirty.

So i bought this Mass air flow cleaner and gave it to him, and I guess that didnt fix it so he said it might need a whole new MAF sesnor. Any idea where to find this part for 2000 3.8L and how much?

Another problem is as the same time the light went on, my car when I switch it in between gears, it kicks pretty hard, and he thought that might be the U-joint, but I guess it looked fine.

try and find someone on the forums with a spare MAF laying around or parting a car out as they are not cheap from the parts stores or dealer

yea my mechanic said he'd check tomorrow morning on the part and how much..

would this be the reason why my cruise control didnt work yesterday when i was driving it over to him?

they are like 140 or 160 and if you are stock just unplug it and let it go into speed density mode should be fine running and driving even slightly modded
