K, I know this has to be somewhere on the site, but I couldnt find it while searching so yea...

Will a z28 90 degree intake elbow, fit on a 96 3.8L throttle body?


also does anyone know the size of it?

I'm quite sure it's the same as what comes with the SLP CAI, so I will say yes. Not sure what the size is though.

I think it does to, but for some reason I also think that the z28 throttle bodies were a little bigger....

it is the same as the one that comes with the slp cai kit as pictured above.

if you are just looking for the elbow you need to get one for a 1le car because it doesnt have the big tube coming outta the bottom of it.

3.4 or 1le will work. Also a 90* 4" to 3" reducing elbow with a 3" sleeve from www.intakehoses.com will also work (my current set-up). You can use a standard Z-28 elbow, but, like david said, it will have a big hole in the bottom; I'm heard of people shoving a shampoo cap in there and siliconing it in with no problem, as long as you seal it up good so no un-filtered air gets in

I believe it's called a resonator... Supposed to keep the intake somewhat quiet.
