whisper lid intake clip is broke

where can I get another one of those clips that hold down the whisper lids on our car I had 2 now I have one because somehow the other one broke off I have my nitrous kit hooked up and I haven't sprayed it yet but Im not comfortable spraying the car knowing that I am one clip away from the lid coming open

its under engine, air intake, Cover, and then retainer. they are 1.90 a piece..

its #2 on the V6 page, and #3 on the v8 page, which are both the same.. $1.90 a piece.

yeah you are right but they are sold in quantities of 6 and shipping is about 13 bucks so Im still spending 25 dollars on something so small I guess there is no way around this great job gm

I might just make my own retainer and have them screw in the metal and that way I know they will not come loose I will take a look at it tomorrow and see what I can come up with Im pretty good at these things I just refuse to pay 25 dollars for these things its like burning money and I burn a lot of it but not this time

Ditto.. I've got one I could send ya, but it would be cheaper for you to just go to a junk yard and grab one. You can also get those off of 93-97 intakes, and those are a dime a dozen, so it shouldn't be hard for you to find.
