i am not 100% sure to the answer of your question but i can tell you to spend your money on a better mod i have a TB spacer from zzperformance and they are very overrated the only time i would get one was to tap it for Nitrous or something of that nature..

What he said. I had one on my car when I sold it. I designed it in CAD on my own based on the thickness I needed and a spare TB gasket. Then I had it cut on a waterjet. Tapped it for a nitrous nozzle and it worked perfect for that, but was completely useless for anything else. It's not worth it on the angled TBs from 98 back.

Yeah, it does change the sound a little bit, but removing the air silencer and just putting in a straight piece of pipe, or getting a cold air intake will make similar changes. I removed the silencer and MAF screen when I had the car, and it sounded a lot better. I have been asked more than once if it was supercharged while setting at a stoplight.
