Hey I_m from germany and i have a 98 camaro 3.8 V6 with a magnaflow 2.5'' cat back and fast toys full ram air kit with whisper lid air intake. Stock headers.
I'm not really happy with the sound. To ricey with a lot of rasp. I Know the 3.8 is not a V8 but hope i reach better sounds from my V6
So i will upgrade my exhaust System with parts that i have here in my garage.
Garage:
1.) 2.5'' Magnaflow complete cat back
2.) 3'' Flowmaster LT1 complete cat back
3.) 2,75'' stock LS1/Z28 complete cat back
4.) 3'' high flow cat
5.) flowtech afterburner f-body muffler (3'' in and dual 2,5 out)
My questions:
Which is the best i pipe? I have 3 different diameters that i can convert it o the 3'' high flow cat.
Is the 3'' to big for the V6 ( daily driver) to less backpressure?
