And they dryer ducting came with the Whisper Lid from Whisper Motorsports.
I'm guessing you can get some from home depot.

And yes, it will work with stock lid.

If you looked at this post on the second page of the link I posted earlier, you would've seen pics:
Like I said I pretty much ignored what that thread had to say... Didnt want to do the ducting :slap: Shoulda checked again if I thought of it...

The new low point is right in front of the TB, so water cen get scked into it. Thats at least what i seen on another thread..

      Lesson here:

1.) Don't go driving through monsoons.
2.) Don't go puddle jumping with your Camaro.

Follow these rules, you will be fine.

Could you post a link to the thread where you read this? I've only come across one or two instances of people hydrolocking their motors on this site. Those involved driving through multiple feet of water during a hurricane. Therefore, it was due to drivers' error, rather than the intake setup. And they had the additional help of the SSRA scoop under their car.

Speaking of which, Ive been through enough hurricanes...

Ill try and find it again, I think it was over at FTv6.

Listen guys, Im not saying your wrong or that I dont believe you, I was just stating what I read on another thread and if this setup woud have any issues like they said they did...

Re: Silencer delete on angled TB?

it might be possible for u to use a very short piece of pipe and attach a conical filter on to the end of the throttle body, then u wouldnt even need a lid. but idk if u have room

Good input but I think it would draw in too much hot air...

Heres what I was talking about the ram air thing... Is this factory or aftermarket?

                Sorry for bad quality..

Ive done the cut out mod before, but I dont remember it looking like that...

I have one on my 98 Camaro, no problems for almost 2 yrs.
