hey guys, my next door neighbor has a 2000 trans am and he gave me all of his stock ram-air airbox equipment and i was wondering if this would fit on my 02 firebird and give me better air flow since i am having such a hard time trying to find a whisper lid. let me know if you have advise!
Thanks
-Dave
i think the only big difference would be that the t/a lid is straight to the throttle body while the bird (3.8 L?) is offset. with some custom tubing, you should be able to get it to work. i think you'd need the ram air hood because the stock ram air box sits up taller too....i think...
yaa. i will definitely be looking into it... he has everything so i might be able to get away with it and he has the same hood as mine so the ram air hood isn't necessary. Its warming up and ive been iching for a project. haha. what is there to loose
