I believe they might have seen 52%. Honestly though, I couldn't tell ya. I just know that I'm not near maxing them out yet. Wait till I get a boost controller.

how much boost are you running? do you know about how much horsepower, i found an amazing deal on some 28.8lb'ers and making sure they will be big enough for now, if i grow out of them i can easily sell them for profit

I'm around 7-8psi now. No idea how much hp. I'm still tuning it. How much boost do you plan to run?

im going to start off with around 5 and get the turbo broken in since its brand new and been sitting in my room a while, but i plan on running around 8lbs in the future, mayber 12ish with built internals, of course then i will get nicer injectors, but $30 for 29lb injectors with 40k miles i cant really pass up

Eh.. Used parts. I've never had any luck with them. They either don't work, or I ***** about em if they do.

Ok.. I suppose I should have said.. What's your end goal? Honestly, anyone here can tell you, don't do it in steps. Have an end goal in mind. Save up for the better/bigger stuff. You'll save a lot of money in the long run.

With the stock cam, I put 1.7 rockers in my car for now but I could have put 1.9 for more power. However, in the future I plan on installing a cam so I stuck with 1.7 because the cam that I eventually get will provide the extra lift later to make up for the lower rocker ratio. However I know little about that subject as I've yet to actually do it. I tend to learn as I go.

Anyways, just don't throw parts at your car that you intend to take off later. You should do some research to find out if those 29lb injectors will suffice when you've reached your end goal PSI. Otherwise, I wouldn't think twice.

well they are what i can afford for now, and im not sure how much further i want to go with this car right now as im still in high school(for 5 more weeks anyways) and if i decide to go bigger its wont take any time at all to swap them out, and i probably could resell them easily for more than i payed for them

1. If that's all you can afford wtf are you doing trying to turbo your car.
2. That wouldn't be very ethical.
3. You are the reason why I have bad experiences when buying from people on this site.
4. I don't understand but, what all do you have for your car now and what can you afford to make it run, Correctly.

how do i make you have bad experiences buying stuff from people on this site, im saying i dont have 300dollars to spend on fuel injectors rights now when 30$ ones will get my by for a few years before i am going to need bigger injectors

just because im getting them for 30$, doesnt mean they are worth 30$, im not just flipping them and trying to sell them again to make money, im going to use them, and if the time comes for bigger injectors, then i could sell them

I didn't mean it to be ouch. The truth is the truth. I was gonna help him out more than others were willing but he got stuck on the injector deal. Whateva! Don't take it to heart Fondle. Life is easier when you don't get mad.

i dont see what being in high school has to do with it, i have 2 classes a day and access the the ag shop where any tool/welder/ anything i could imagine i can use for free

i have had the same turbo sitting in my garage for over a year, and the same crank/rods/heads on my workbench for about a year and a half. i just cant afford the engine case to put it together, and now the beetle that im putting it all in needs work to even be able to handle the engine. patience is the key, make sure you have everything you need and everything is ready once you have ALL the parts you need, then you can start the build.

yeah...i said beetle.
