  • Quiet the TSP

    I have a TSP Rumbler and Im looking to take the sound down a little bit since ive been pulled over for it a few times.

    Ive done some searching and came up with a couple ideas. I am interested in the Dynomax super turbo, but im not sure if that will weld up to the Rumbler or even if there is enough room for it in there. I could go the bullet muffler route in place of the empty cat, but im not sure which one will quiet it down to the point im looking for.

    Re: Quiet the TSP

    I currently have that setup. Headers -> 12" bullet -> 3" s-pipe -> TSP Rumbler.

    It is a bit quieter than it was with just a gutted cat. But really not a difference worth noting. It really just took the edge off the rumbler sound, if that makes sense.

    If you are looking to quieten it down a bit do the right thing and put a real cat in place of your gutted one. It's what I need to do, whenever I get around to replacing my header gaskets I'll pull off the y-pipe and put a new cat in.

      ive got a high flow laying around somewhere. would that be enough to tone it down a bit or should i pick up a stock one? im not really worried about any performance loss
