    Re: Air lid

Ok, I hear this drive by wire thing everywhere...the newer camaro's have it, right, cause I dunno what you talking about...so what are we meaning...

I know of drive by wire...like controlling your car with a remote control that is by "wire" instead of linkage...but I'm sure that's not what we are talking about here...or are we?

99+ tanks are bigger, but are also made of plastic as compared to the smaller metal 98- tanks. Not sure how much of weight difference there would be either way.

99+ V6 F-bodies use drive by wire, which uses sensor points and the computer to tell the amount of throttle between gas pedal and throttle body. While the 98- cable driven cars use a throttle cable that's routed and connected to the throttle body, instead of a computer.

The sail panel on my '99 is spotless, and that's after 10 years of sitting outside in the sun.

Nope. Have someone push on the gas pedal...

Damn! This thread sure is getting some play...

I will admit however, I did not know about my temp gauge. Always thought it warmed up super fast and now I know why
