i heard nothing special about the first 4- raspy as normal

the last is borla- a smoother mellower sound... cost more

full catback, highflow cat, headers and maybe head work done....

that Cadillac is sick though...

only the first Fiero sounded good...the others sounded like Japanese rocket ships...

Also the Firebird put it in his description...

this is my firebird with SLP cold air intake,whisper airlid, Pacesetter Headers, Bullit style exhaust, to dual tips out the back.

I just think they all sound better than the 3.8 firebirds if i could get close to the sound of these i would be happy

i like a faster reving sound doesnt need to be all that deep just not as raspy on top

I have a 3" magnaflow high flow cat, 2.5" catback with a magnaflow fbody v6 2.5" muffler and corsa clone tips... I would like a faster reving more aggresive sound, i am not looking for a v8 sound i would prefer a euro sound to a v8 sound if possible. Anyway to achieve this?

headers...high flow cat...turbo mufflers or a stock SS and t/a muffler

That sounds pretty close to what I have now... I have this muffler http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=7923 and the car sound/ magnaflow 3" highflow cat used on our cars... im not very happy with the sound.

I do understand that these are not the same brand but they are very close in engine size and are also v6 so why do they sound so much better?

You are going to need an aftermarket camshaft. It will really change the sound of the exhaust. That on top of a borla muffler and headers will get you the results you want.

Ok well what kind of headers should I get? short tube, or long tube? And just a borla muffler or cat back? Does headwork change the sound?

^for headers most ppl get pacesetters bc they are the cheapest, which are mid tube

clear image automotive are also popular, they are also mid tube, they cost more but are suppose to be better built

force fed fabrications make long tubes in limited quantities, they sound the best IMO but are expensive and hard to get

get the entire borla catback if u can afford it

idk about headwork

Pacesetter Headers With High Flo Cat And Flowmaster Exhaust Makes My 1997 3.8L V6 Sound Like A Quiet V8, If you didnt know about cars or camaro you would swear it's a v8
