Suncoast Raptor ram air box on a '98

Hey all, first post here.

I just got a '98 firebird and I'm planning on getting it painted in the next week or so (it really needs it).
I figure that this would be the best time to go ahead and get a Raptor hood

I also want to get the ram air interface for it

Their site clearly says that it will not fit the slanted MAF, but I'd really like to have this all work out.

Has anyone ever got one to fit? Or is there another MAF I can buy?
What are my options here?

you could buy a 1999+ upper intake i suppose, but i dont know if it will match up

I think the 99+ are drive by wire.. although maybe that was the '00?

That intake is for a LS1 ONLY!

There is no ram air for a 98, or 96, or 97 for that matter. You will have to custom from the filter housing to the TB.

The MAF is in the TB on your engine.
