I assure you, it's connected, and the fittings are tightened down well. I belive it was mis-machined at the factory. No matter what I do, it has two pinhole leaks on the inlet and purge port.www.fullthrottlev6.com
www.chitownracing.com

That doesn't look too good , I would guess he used paste on the fittings since hes been running nitrous for awhile, I had a leak on my main 16ft. line it got pitched or something and leaked like crazy.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Re: Ya'll ain't gonna believe this ****.
You should be good with paste, I have used tape and thread sealer on some parts and never had problems aslong as you put it up high on the threads and it doesn't get sucked in and clog a jet or filter. I agree def. let it sit over night, I do on most of the sealants and agsket makers I use , esp. for the oil pan and intake mani's. Use blue loctite med. not the red if you going to use loctite.Last edited by ssms5411; 06-14-2010, 02:41 PM.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Re: Ya'll ain't gonna believe this ****.
instead of tape try liquid thread lock. You can get it from any home improvement place. It works into the treads better than tape. It's a lot better I think. I used that stuff for my bathroom remodel and I was sold on it. I was also told by a guy I used to work with that tape is the worst thing you can use. He was a pipe fitter for 25 years...

yes use paste and not tape on pipe thread. AN fittings should not need anything.

Is it the crimp connection on the line itself leaking? Mine did the same on the bottle side! Ended up needing to have a new connector put on the one side!!Jeff ..
