Nitrous Shark nozzle placement Questions.

Didnt feel like renting a backhoe and digging up ancient threads but was wondering whether i HAVE to tap into the TB or what are my options? Pro's / Con's ?

with a wet nozzle, you would want it after the maf, so yes into the tb or use a tb spacer and put the nozzle in the spacer.

If you were running dry, then it would go before the MAF, so the MAF could adjust your fueling

Check out Thrasher for a TB spacer with a tap for a wet nozzel.

Yeah Ive read the link before not quite what i was looking for, but i can't seem to find the TB spacer for a v6 camaro via thrasher

I ran mine on my old car into the throttle body similar to what's in the link above, except mine was in the bottom of the TB instead of the side. If I was to do it again I would definitely use a spacer. When I had my v6, no one made a spacer for it and I didn't have the means to make one myself.

You can buy a Helix spacer and just tap it for the nitrous nozzel, I have been thinking about doing this for my methaol injection nozzel, then if I need to moved the line I or work on it I can always use a plug and I won't run into any problems that way. My old TB is still has holes from my nitrous nozzels and methanol nozzels , and the TB I have know was polished by ZZP so I really don't want to mess it up.

contact the companies as they don't usually list them for sale on the sites. Get ahold of thrasher and such via email and ask if they have one available or can make you one. Or get ahold of nitrous outlet as they make one off custom plates that are really sweet. Def. some nice plates from Nitrous Outlet. I remember I emailed thrasher before and I think they said their plate and where the nitrous jet goes would be in the way of the TB cable on 95-98's but is fine on the electric TB's. But I think they said theycould move the nozzel location to the other side. Its funny how I don't remember stuff and then it just clicks and I can remember it like yesterday. (I guess 25% brain loss will do that,LOL) I think I will go ahead and just plumb my methanol nozzel in the upper manifold , it has worked well for Teful and his setup. I think a wet shot would work well up there too.

Just sent nitrous outlet an email today.. they'd have to custom make it and etc but depending on what i wanted looks like its like 300 - 400$, just plumbing it seems like the cheapest and most effective..sigh lol

I emailed them about that plate, and found out that they can just switch the LS plate kit with a 3.8 plate, no problem.
