OK i was running this through my head today while at work. I know a couple of you were asking about a TB spacer with some ports for Nitrous jets for AFTER the mass airflow sensor. WEll if i could get some measurements of a Throttle body spacer and some diagrams or pics i could get some aluminum ones made with some threaded ports for the n20 jets if anyones interested.I know there were some urethane or plastic ones floating around that people have so i figured wouldnt aluminum be better? Especially if you could get it Anodized in a few colors..WHICH i can get done. Lemme know if my idea will even work at all if anyone would know?

The gtp guys told me to contact this company for one. Depending on the price, yeah I'd be interested. Why don't you get some info from them and see if you can get it done and at what price. This is what they told me.
Josh, go to the Trasher website. I realize that the site is down but call up one of their distributors (I've used Extreme Performance with good service) and order the TB spacer/nitrous plate. It's made to work specifically with both wet and dry nitrous kits. It also comes with a braket to mount the throttle micro-switch. The spacer is made of alumium (not plastic) and is threaded for a nitrous injection nozzle; all for about $90

90 bucks!? i could probably get it done for HALF that. i just need a picture with measurements. Try and talk them into sending you one if you can. I could probably get it anodized too if you want. No promises though...im looking for pics and measurements and stuff and have come up empty handed so far.2001 Black S10 Xtreme 4.3L A4
*RedLineVSix*
\"Throwin sparks, draggin frame\"

I had this idea once too.. did some research and now I highly recomend you do NOT do it this way.
Wet jets are supposed to be as far up as possible but not passing the MAF sensor and not spraying on the MAF sensor.
If you put the jets in a TB spacer, that is VERY close to the first few cyl's especially cyl 1. The high force at which the nitrous shoots out of those jets would carry it right over cyl1 and 2... straight to the back cyl's.
It's just too close to the runners to distribute the N20/Fuel equally.Keith - Chicago
HP Tuners - PCM Reprogramming
97 Firebird V6 to LS1 swap
V8 9.967@132.78 1.322 60\' NA Heads/Cam
V8 10.295@128.48 1.363 60\' NA Cam Only
V8 10.987@119.31 1.422 60\' NA Stock Internals
V6 13.674@98.22 NA
V6 12.394@104.91 N20 100HP

I think Magnus may be correct. If the n20 is comming out at 800 psi it would blow right bast the first two cylinders. However the zex system I have on my car is a dry kit, they still tell you to mount it after the maf, see my other post. I don't really know what to do.Josh
96 Red Firebird
SLP intake, zex nitrous 75 shot(for sale), purge kit, MAC lca + phr, Jamex springs, flowmaster 80 series, ES tranny bushing, SCR subframe conectors, Harlan shiftlight, A/F guage, MSD dis-4, Accel wires w/ NGK tr6\'s, foglights, stereo, zexel torsion LSD, Walboro 255 pump, and more.
Looking for: 1le ds, nx wet kit + accesories

This guy made my H20 injection spacer. If you decide to go this route I highly recommend him. Very professional product.

Ahhhh, the beauty of direct port systems.
Even dry systems have certain cylinders they favor less.
I consistently had problems with the middle cylinder on the passenger side first
Then the front cylinder sometimes on the passenger side.
Wet or dry at high levels with a high psi will have problems.
The only true solution is a direct port system which injects the equal amount of fuel and nitrous into each cylinderRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

Woah.. bluecmaro96.. Several things here..
Only way to ensure equal distribution is to go direct port.. forget that idea.
If your kit is a wet kit put the jets in the TB between the MAF sensor and the blade.. Make sure there is clearnace for teh blade to open without hitting the jet. Make sure that the nitrous won't spray onto the MAF sensor. I have pics of where I mounted mine on my web page under the P&P album.. then near the bottom click the misc pics.
Also.. your going to spray your car? You have a very high stall converter a and a 3.73 gear. When you hit that nitrous your stall is going to increase by lets say 500 rpm's.. I hope you have a window switch because you will most likely bounce off the rev limiter before shifts on nitrous. Also, make SURE you check the top speed limiter function if your using a SCU 2000. If your car doesn't shift into 4'th gear when you have that thing enabled.. well you're going to hit the rev limiter in third .
There are so many things to worry about with a higher gear, bad shift points, a high stall converter, a low top speed limiter and nitrous.. so.. BE CAREFUL.
I must stress this. Make sure you have a window switch. VERY IMPORTANT.

keith thanks for letting me know all that i really appreciate it, ill make sure i have a window switch. i am also going to send my pcm to superchips to have it programmed for the gears, converter, cam and n20. if i have superchips do this to my computer i shouldnt have any problems, should i? again thanks for the valuable info. when you say blade in the tb your talking about the butterfly looking thing that opens and closes with throttle right?

Also remember if you hit the rev limiter it cuts fuel!!!!
No fuel is bad with nitrous.
