hey everyone..i know you have probably heard this a thousand times and i have researced this for a few weeks now but havent really came up with a definite decision yet on which kit to but, the nx wet kit or the nos dry kit...i wanna add around 75-90 shot, but want to make this safe as possible, so which kit is SAFER, also what other mods should i get i currently only have a k&n air filter and a cat back system...thanks alot everyone, because i know this question has been kind of beat in the ground

wet kit is safer it shoots gas with the nos so you don't worry about running lean it will be more then a dry kit if you are gonna only run that much i would get a dry it is cheaper. but over all the wet kit is better

Which is better......
This is the most common question asked first.
What do you want out of the system?
If you are going for low hp levels then dry is fine.
Our intake manifolds are designed for dry systems and not wet, even though wet will work fine.
I always suggest dry kit nos 5175 but the nx wet or tnt wet is fine.
You must realize nitrous can cause bad things to happen.
Nitrous is never 100% safe.
Dry kits use vaccum to raise fuel pressure and that is how the fuel needed is provided.
Wet kits have a seperate fuel solenoid and it is typicaly tapped into the fuel rail (schrader valve located on the passenger side fuel rail under the black cap).
Dry kits add stress to the injectors and injector lock up can occur.
Wet kits can have a nitrous backfire in the intake manifold.
Most of the time these things will not happen, I am just letting you know of al the potentials.
Any other questions?
Oh yeah, nitrous systems benifit from a full exhaust system and intake.

is it possible to buy pieces out of a kit separate, or even from different companies, i know this is probably stupid, i was just wondering.
also, what would be the highest dry shot you could run on a stock engine and what is the lowest hp shot that you could make (besides zero)?
thanks

Yes you can mix and match parts but it is not advisable.
I ran into one of my buddies who got a botch nitrous set up
It had nos, nx, and nitrous works parts.
Head gasket went on first pass so I dunno how it would hav eturned out.
Looked like crap due to all different brands but if it works then who cares :D
Lowest, I think they make a 10 or 15 shot, hey you said lowest :D
I had a 120 dry forever!!!!
