  • N2o at 4,400 ft. elevation?

Hey, I have been a nitrous adict for about 2 months now. I am currently running a 75 shot nx wet kit. I heard from some people that at high elevation you are able to go more extreme. A larger shot? Is this true? My question is, does elevation change the way your nitrous setup should be ran or does it make anything different?

I live in utah with 4,400 ft. elevation. Anyone with info please help?

At elevation, a 75 shot is still a 75 shot. Your engine just doesn't make the horsepower it would at low elevation but it is still working just as hard. So if you were to run more you could risk detonation. Now, forced induction does change but nitrous shots are the same.

Well there would be less o2 at higher levels so You may not make as much power.
You could potentially run lean at higher levels of nitrous

So would you guys agree that I will still have the same risks with running a 75 shot at high elevation as I would at sea level?

To the best of my knowledge yes.

I would post this in the Rocky Mountain Secion at LS1.com Most of my buds in my club are there and might be able to have a better answer.
