Someone said they wern't sure if a WOT switch would work on my car. Cause of the electronic throttle body is this true

I was under the Impression you could hook that thing up down by the gas pedal because i dont think it works with the throttle body itself. I could be wrong but i dont think i am. I think i remember seeing pics somewhere. Some have it on the throttle body and some can have it on the base of the gas pedal.
I'm not sure off hand about the electric throttle bodies.
