• Missed shift with N2o. Very scary. Need help

Hey, Last night I went out racing. I was racing a dodge truck. Says he runs a 13.9. I was pulling on him. Well untill 3rd gear. I hit my rev limiter really hard. I instantly let off the n2o. The car stalled. Started back up just fine. Ran fine the rest of the night? Think I did any damage? Why did it stall like that? Any suggestions?

Another problem, I was again racing about an hour later. After the first scare I decided to take my shot down to 50. Had it at 75 before. I was doing about 90 MPH on the bottle. I went to go shift into 4th and I missed and shifted into 2nd. I dont think the nitrous hit during this time because I was using a Wide open throttle switch and the gas pedal wasnt to the floor. I pushed in the clutch as fast as I could. But the car started bucking like the rear end or the tranny was locking up. Think I did any damage? Any suggestions?

car seems to be running smooth. Im just scared and need some help.

Thanks.

Bad night. A good scare. Help Please!

I had mine stall out on me with a 50 shot. It was right after I got the kit. PProbably like the third time I ever sprayed. I was spraying and then when I let off the rpms fell to the floor and then the car died. I looked and saw nothing wrong. Fired it up again and it has run fine ever since.

Mine has stalled several times while doing burnouts in the burnout box at the track. I think it's due to hitting the rev limiter or something. Haven't had any problems <<knock on wood>> . The bogging thing could've been the car running rich. That's happened to me also and it is a scary thing. Almost seems like you killed the car. It just kindof dies on you and doesn't want to go. Keep an eye on your air/fuel ratio gauge. If you don't have one, get one!!

Check all the plugs immediately
If you hit a rev limiter it cuts the fuel immediately and the car will run lean.
Before you juice again check all the plugs.
Also, shirl, are you using nitrous in the burn out box?
Stick with line locks and all motor, just a personal suggestion

No nitrous in the burnout box for me, just the blower
