  • Aluminum ring around throttle body

    http://www.crankandchrome.com/site/t...=364&PreID=223

On cracnk and chrome they installed Nitrous on a vette using this aluminum ring that they out over the MAF. I was wondering that instead of tapping the TB just try to find somehow to fabricate one of these and slide over it. This way if the kit ever needs to come off then no holes in the TB. This may be widely known but I have never seen it before nor read it about it.

    TNT is a wet kit.
Our cars have the maf built into the throttle body.
You really don't want to spray a wet kit before the maf.
Dry kits in front, wet in back.
I love the set up but we are kinda screwed with the maf being built right into the throttle body :(
lt1's and ls1's have a seperate throttle body and maf so they can run a plate or ring set up

you gotta run the wet kits behind the maf. Just the way it is.

If you wanted to get creative and kill two birds with one stone you might do the tb coolant bypass thing and make a gaskit thick enough to support a nozzle or two. :D
