  • Not sure why yall use JB weld

I have seen that everyone uses JB weld to mount the nozzle in the throttle body. I will go take some pic l8tr but We drilles with a 5/16 drill bit and then took a 1/8 , 27 NPT tap and made it threaded and just screwed in the nozzle no leaks or anything and when ever I want it out I just unscrew. I will post pics soon my camaera is gehetto so i need to borrow a friends.

It all depends on where you are drilling your holes and on what TB.

On my 97 TB.. the upper part has some nice meet to place the jet, but the lower part is very thin.

Also, I made my decisio non where to put the nozzels not based on how much meet i'd be drilling through, but how they would interact with the butterfly and MAF sensor.

I am very happy with how I mounted my nozzles. The position is very good.

JB weld keeps them in place nice and tight..

When I removed my jets, all I had to do was break the weld with som extra force and I just chipped off the rest of it.. and put in my sealers and welded them in place..

    I like my setup.
