Your first nitrous experience

Since I'll be joining the ranks of the juiced 3.8s in a couple of weeks when I get my 5175 kit installed, I thought I'd start this topic.

I'm interested in everyones first experience with nitrous. What was is like the first time you hit the button?

The first time was right after the guy who built my car installed it.. he showed me everything he did and explained it. I was like umm, what did I do [img]graemlins/omg.gif[/img] he said, "what are you nervous? it's not big deal.." so we go for a ride and he's driving.. we launch and he hits the button with me in the passenger's seat. I started screaming "OK! OK!! THAT'S GOOD!! THAT'S ENOUGH!HOLY SH*T!" he said "relax, it's not a big deal" and I said "yeah, well, you're not in the passenger's seat!!!!"
So, if you wanna scare you're friends.. this is a good way to do it!!! James, are you listening to me?!!! I'd much rather be the driver than the passenger.. then at least I know I'M the one in CONTROL!! [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]

First time I was not impressed at all. It was an 85 shot and I thought it was a waste of money.
I was really dissappointed.
Then I guess all the carbon build up cleaned out and it became fun.
My first real race was the day the nitrous was installed.
I'm cruising along and some f body or vette pulled next to me. I was ready. I purged, I floored it, hit the button and nothing :(
I forgot to turn on the master switch.
I lined up with the guy again, this time with the master on, and beat him.
Later that night I met up with misterjuice. I took him out for a ride. I was pulled over by the police for doing 85 in a 40. The officer asked why? I honestly answered: i just got my nitrous system installed today and I am showing it off to my friend.
Since then I am marked in my own home town. The officer's let me go that night.

If no one knows why I am appologizing it is because I took shirl for a ride with the 120 dry shot in. All we did was spin forever on the backstreets near my house in vermont. Watch out for those little foxes :D
