Low rpm activation.
Remember our intake manifolds are not designed for wet nitrous kits. With wet kits you could possibly get puddling of fuel in the intake manifold. This then could become the perfect home for a nice ball of fire and boom, backfire.
95-97 v6 f bodies seem to need the maf screen. W/o it you can seem to get a bog. If you juice large shots (say 120 for example) you will have nice backfires :D
How can you prevent it?

So since I have a MSD window RPM switch that activates at 3000 rpms and cuts at 5900 rpms I should worry to much and im only runnig a 100 shot at the most only at the track and a 75 shot on the street I will be ok rightSICK-SIXX MEMBER
NA 14.345 with a 1.863 60 foot
Nitrous 13.03@99.5 with a 1.63 60 foot

2000 Camaro 3.8L A4: USE TO HAVE Comp Cam 210/220 .535/.547 113lsa 111 I/C, Port and Polished Heads, NX Wet Kit 100 Shot, CPRA made by CP, RK Sport Headers

There is never a 100% guarentee with nitrous.
You are running a wet kit on a manifold not intended to have fuel in it.
I'm about to do the same.Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

i dont think port & polishing the intake would help any, your still putting fuel thru a intake which isnt designed for one. i dont really know what happened with my kit, i was over 3k rpm's and the gas was floored when i hit it. and i am also running double the shot of nitrous you are :D
