I would like to buy a used nitrous kit until I can get a SC kit. I don't have lot of room in my car so I was thinking about hooking up two 5 lbs tanks together. How is this done? what hardware is needed. what will this do to the PSI? I only want to run a 50 shot or maybe even a 75 at the most. I have an idea of everything I want to do but I still would like to know what advice can you nitrous heads give me? thanks

PS
I say two 5 lbs tanks because I can build my sub box to hold both of them and still have the right cubs per inch for my subs inside.

spare tire well will fit a 15lb i think i know it will fit a 10lb bottle and hey if you afriad you are gonna get a flat carry a can of fix a flat hehe less weight too

im guessing you would just have to make a y fitting for both the lines to meet into 1 line

i dont think anyone on here has done it, I know min has 2 10lbs in the back but they are septrate shots i belive cause hes got the dual 75 shot

See thats just it, I don't want to use my spare tire well. I have had two flats in 6 months and I really, really want my spare. One of the flats could not have been fixed by Fix-a-flat.

Thanks for the advice but I need another option.

There is a fitting for 2 bottles, I think I have a spare one I could give you for a few bucks. You'll also need 2 short lines that go from the bottles into the Y fitting that goes into the main nitrous line that goes into the solenoids.

Also, you shouldnt open both the tanks at the same time, the pressure will remain the same, and the bottle with more nitrous in it will just flow into the bottle with less in it.

You know more bottles = more power right???
OK well you would want to run a y fitting and 2 short lines to each bottle.
Min is correct about the bottle psi, which ever has more will flow into the lesser to equal psi.
If you run 2 bottles then 2 bottle warmers should be done.
Psi will not change, it will just equalize between both bottles.
Nothing too difficult to do.

But on Fast And The Furious he........J/K

Yea I know. I want 10lbs of N20 but I don't want a big bottle taking up a lot of space. with two small 5pound bottles I can't store them better. I don't see the down side to turning on both bottles at the same time. Don't I want the two to equal out? That was my main question when I first posted that I failed to asked. I know I would need two small lines and a Y connector, I was more asking if there needed to be some type of pressure regulator when using two bottles. If they equal out I guess that answers my question. Anything else I should know?
