  • NITROUS FILTER

Hey guys, I have the NX kit. My nitrous filter is slightly leaking. When I pop the hood I can hear the nitrous filter leaking out on the end where it connects to the Sylonoid. I cant seem to get it to seal. Any tricks? Is it dangerous to be using the nitrous while it is leaking? It is a very very slight leak. You cant see it you can only hear it. what should I do?

did you put some teflon paste on the threads before screwing it on?

i dont think its dangerous, but if you let it leak, your nitrous will slowly leak out

I dont remember if there is teflon tape on there or not. I didnt install it. Is there supposed to be? I heard your not supposed to use tape on a pressurized fitting. Is that a pressureized fitting?

Use teflon PASTE not tape, the tape leaks

            Teflon paste, not the tape.
Is it safe, I guess so.
If it leaks then you will never be able to hold pressure.
Also if you are leaking nitrous then your car may always run rich cause the fuel is not leaking.
            Get the leak fixed
