My bottle is mounted in the rear passenger seat location on a board (check the link in the sig).
I have all the extra braided line coiled up under the piece of wood. The line then goes under the carpet there.
Just under the carpet where the passenger rear person's feet would be there is a rubber 2.5 to 3 inch diameter plug. I removed that and sent all the lines in and out of that. The braided line is then zip tied along my tubular sub frame connectors. It then follows it along to the engine bay. My nitrous line then avoids the header and slinks up the frame rail. Then the solenoids are mounted kinda snugly right by my battery (again check the link in my sig).
Hope that helps.
If you get a chance take some pics.
Best of luck, and take it slow.
Install the fpss first!!!!!!!!

Yeah your dad does rule. Mine said no n20, hence the stealth install... I mounted my bottle in the spare tire well and ran the lines inside

He is sooo cool he took two days off of work just to help me!!

can i run it through the inside? from the back of the car? or is that bad? i really dont want to drill more than i have to.

I was just going to run it through the inside allong the bottom and drill through the fire wall on the pass. side. mount the solenoids next to the batt and run the line to the elbow right in front of the temp sensor. does this sound ok?

If you drill through the firewall you might eventually end up w/ water leaks.
When I had a battery mounted in the trunk I ran into problems w/ water coming in the wireing harness grommet.
Personally I'd just run the braided line right out the rubber drain plug in the location where the rear passenger would put their feet.
I have no drilling done

if i put it throught the rubber drain plug then it would get steped on ( yes i actualy use the back seats). my dad has some of that puddy that never drys. we are just going to use that.

One quick question, if i may. Where exactly is the thing that the FPSS goes into located? I know it says the fuel rail, but im not sure where that is. I can see right now im going to be using the camaro bible a lot tomorrow.

Take a look at the upper intake manifold
On the passenger side you will see the fuel rail
Follow along the fuel rail until you see a black plastic cap that looks like a valve stem cap, there ya go :D

Never posted in this forum as i am not an expert with nitrous, but from my experience with car audio, there is a whole on the passenger side in the firewall, behind the PCM. Check that out and see if it will meet your needs.

If you mount the bottle in the back somewhere (spare tire well, hatch area) you can run the main nitrous line under the car. It will follow the same path as the fuel lines, and will even conveniently clip into the existing line clips tightly. Thats how I ran mine.

Unfortunately my kit was missing important parts (Grrr NOS) so it's currently half installed. :(

My 10 step install.......

1.) Mount bottle in sapre tire well.
2.) Run line to the right of seatbealt assembly and under plastic outer covering, this will lead down to underneat the arm rest under the plastic, reach your hand in there and find it.
3.) Remove Sill plat covering, 4 phillip head screws, move the seat aroung to easily get to them, after screws are out grab the back and lift up, it will slide out easy.
4.) From the inside get under dash and remove 2 pop screws on underdash covering
5.) Find PCM wires where they come trough the firewall, its way upthere in the corner, little hands are needed!! Push that gromet through.
6.) run the line where that sill plate was and up to that hole and through, get your dad to catch it on the other side, it will want to come back through.
7.)Replace sill plate with line underneath, be shure to get it under the tab that is on the A-Pillar. replace under dash cover.
8.) Run line over fender well to battery.
9.)Mount Solonoids on Lower airbox beside battery, I used a long L bracket for my solonid mount but if you can find somewhere else that good to.
10.)wire up them switches and SPRAY!!!
1/4 14.1 @ 99<br />1/8 9.2 @ 77

Personally I wouldn't suggest going through the ecm wiring harness grommet.
Eventually you could run into problems w/ leaking possibly.
Also another thing, nitrous is cold.
Eventually (depending on how much you use nitrous) you might affect the life of the outer covering of the wires for the ecm.
You might run into problems w/ that, I'm reaching on it but you never know.
Infernal made a good suggestion. On f body's there is an extra clip on the fuel rails under the car. You can clip the nitrous line in there.
GM intended on running nitrous on all f body's but for some reason it failed

we ran the line in probably a very unique way.

the line goes from the bottle through the molding on the pass. side. then it runs alont the bottom of the molding to the fire wall. but we didnt put it though there. we saw that i was going to be hard to dill though and know where it was going to come out so we drilled a hole in the wheel well. and drilled a hole at the top of the wheel well and ran it though there. now i know this sounds crazy but it worked great. we sealed all the holes up and tie rapped the line. it looks good. my dads cheap digital camera isnt working so i cant git pic's yet but im working on it.

now all we have to do is do the vacuum lines and the wireing.

oh yeah 12secondv6, i went to KOI and got the right fittings for the fpss.
