Hey all, new poster, old reader. Quik ? for you N20 junkies. I'm looking to light up my bird with around a fifty shot of N20, and was wondering if this would be safe on a fairly stock 3800 with 45,000 miles. Current mods are in my sig. Thanks in advance for any help

nitrous is never safe but it should be fine on your eninge just go with a dry shot if your only gonna do a 50 but a wet should would be safer best wet kit prob. NX best dry kit prob. NOS just my opion make sure you get a fuel pressure saftey switch1998 Jet Black Trans-am M6 T-tops<br />\"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find: knock and it shall be opened unto you:-Matthew 7:7<br />Old car<br /><a href=\"http://matthew27529.tripod.com/getsome\" target=\"_blank\">http://matthew27529.tripod.com/getsome</a><br />NEW CAR<br /><a href=\"http://garnerebel.tripod.com/\" target=\"_blank\">http://garnerebel.tripod.com/</a>

So, let me see if Im understanding this. A "dry" system only injects n20, and a "wet" system injects n20 along with extra fuel. So, dry is good, wet is better. Am I right?
As far as the fuel pressure switch goes, I was planning on this set up :
1) Arming switch
2) Window switch (RPM)
3) Fuel pressure switch
4) WOT switch
Should this provide enough redundancy for the sake of saftey?
What about my stock tranny and rear end?
Again, thanks for any and all help2000 Firebird M5<br />Ghetto lid<br />Lost the air silencer, told the wife \"Gee honey, must of fallen off somewhere\"<br />K&N filter<br />Dynomax cat back<br />Tinted windows<p>In stock but not installed yet:<br />SLP ram air hood<br />RK Sport headers<p>\"You want how much for that . .?\"

Nitrous is not safe, there is no 100% guarentee that your engine (tranny and rear) will hold together.
Our intake manifolds are desinged not to run fuel.
The dry systems are supposed to work better w/o the chance of a good intake manifold backfire.
I prefer nos kit 5175, it worked very well for me.
Low hp set ups (below 100) are good w/ dry kits
High hp set ups (above 100) are good w/ wet kits
Do a search for set up safety features on manuals.Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
