I finally installed my bottle warmer yesterday do i still use the blanket or will it like melt it or something

Is it neccesary, no.
Can it help, yes.
It will not melt it.
It helps to maintian the temp in the cold. Also when it is extremely hot it kinda shields the sun light and prevents the bottle temp increasing.
