I can't be half-steppin anymore. Now i'm looking into getting nitrous. I figured 13s would put me in with the big boys. What shot is best for a stock motor and with the few mods I have? I know I'm taking a 50/50 chance regardless. I plan not to use it alot...LOL

i'd say a 75 wet shot should put you around a 13.7.. you have good exhaust work done and nitrous loves free flowing exhaust..
just a side note, i'm going to run open-y with a 100 shot and see if there is a difference.. stay tuned ;)

Dont nitrous kits come with a range where you can choose the shot you wanna run? For ex: If one day I wanted to run a 50 shot then switch to a 85 shot the next day?
sure can, with my kit i can go from a 35 shot to a 150 shot. i can change the jets in like 10 mins

before you do no2, replace your i-pipe with a 3" to match the rest of the exhaust. I'd say with your mods at that point, geting a 50 shot should work to get you at least 13.9's, or a 75 shot dry will get you 13.7's. This is all a ballpark estimate.
Hey I noticed you did the same thing to you exhaust as I plan on doing to mine. Did you get the 45 bends from jcwhitney? And did you do the install yourself? Does it clear the brace thing? Any other tips?
Yes you can adjust the shot level w/ different jets.
Nitrous loves a full exhaust system.
I run a 2.5 inch system from the cat to the s pipe and then it goes to a 3 inch edlebrock cat back

Yep, I got em from jchwhitney for like 40 bucks. I had a muffler shop install it along with my cat and I pipe. As far as the brace, it did rub against the pipe and was rattling, but I bent the brace outward. No more rattling now.
Yes a week ago i ran a 13.801 with a 50 shot wet. You have pretty much the same mods.as me anyway
